Summary From Viz: Being a teenage martial artist isn't easy, especially for Ranma Saotome, who went through a major transformation on a training mission with his father. After an accidental dunk into a legendary cursed spring in China, Ranma now changes into a girl every time he's splashed with cold water. That would be enough to complicate anyone's life, even without the arranged fiancée who doesn't like him (or says she doesn't) and the constant stream of rivals and suitors for both his male and female forms. What's a half-guy, half-girl to do? I started uploading this before I found out that other people had already uploaded it before. But anyway...


These are badongo links, and in grouped format. (Volume 1-12 in one upload and Volume 13-24 in another upload.) Ranma 1/2 Manga uploaded, I'm still not finished with the last because... hmm... it's a big file and in the afternoons badongo gives me 8kb upload speed which just won't do.

I didn't know that badongo splits up large files, so just download all the parts, download the reference file and download the HJsplit. A better splitter than the badongo program and it works on badongo downloads. Tell me how it works. I won't upload it in a different place becuase this took me 8 hours cumulatively to upload becuase my brother keeps running bitorrent which means my upload speed plumetted from the usual 50kb/s to 8kb/s.

It was more because I really wanted to share the manga and a way to shamelessly promote my fic. Haha. There's still volume 25-36.

heh, I hate Badongo like that. I've tried the helper application before - it didn't work for me (or I couldn't be bothered making it work XD) and frankly, it's just a way for them to get their software on the computer.

Other file splitters/mergers work fine anyway. I personally use HJSplit (http://www.freebyte.com/hjsplit/). It's multi-platform as well, so it's better for those running other OS's.

Yeah. I know They should have at least told me that they were going to split the file after I uploaded it -_-; I mean after I wasted 8 hours of uploading it to find out they just split it...

I've tried other splitters too, my splitter before was the one used in hosterz_groups back when I was a mod in the yahoo groups there. Or the one that comes with WinRar. *sigh* If I'd knon they were going to do it, I would have split it, or at least decompressed it into volumes instead of doing that.

I was wondering which other file transfers are able to upload more than 300MB but zshare doesn't work for me, and megaupload doesn't either... This teaches me to split before hand *sigh*

Volumes are best :D

You see, the thing about larger files is that you run the risk of the net cutting out mid way, corrupting your file and requiring you to start again. You should stay with volumes.

But none the less, you're uploads are appreciated :D

It was actually four hours for both. And I left my computer uploading the thing while reading ebooks so it wasn't really like I was waiting for it the entire time.

The reason why it's not in volumes is becuase I downloaded them in those packets. In retrospect, I really should have just split them into several volumes but I argued against the time it would take. Well there's still volume 25-38. Haha, doing that when I have more free time. And I have the original insert for these rars.

sorry for not responding sooner but yes have begun downloading just recently finished the first part and am starting with the second. thanks very much for this again! it's so much better reading the manga than guessing what actually happened through translations or other stories.

The splitter didn't work fortunately I looked up the splitter one of the posters recommended and it worked like a charm! Am now enjoying the first and second volumes and working on the third!:)

I think it was ray_zee who suggested using HJ Split.

BTW am done reading the files you've uploaded, you can really see the difference between fandom cliches and what really went on in the series (manga and anime), for one thing to me it didn't seem like Akane and Ranma were bickering all the time in fact I was surprised at how often they weren't fighting then Akane wanting to be an actress I was surprised that it was only once and that she resisted doing the play before she actually went along with the idea and I think she used her bokken(?) more than she used her mallet. Plus, it does seem like that Cologne actually likes Akane, even Shampoo there really isn't this simmering tension between them that some authors liked to portray.

As for the cannon vs. fanon, yeah. I'm really happy that you like it. I'll try to upload the last volume when I get a free morning because bandwidth in the evening sucks.

Now that I know badongo works if you use HJ splitter there should be no problem. Yeah, and I like the manga better than the anime too. The best of the anime would be season 1-2, the OAVs and the movies.

Akane does have a more active role in the manga, doesn't she? As is obvious I'm quite the Akane fan and Akane's lack of growth as a martial artist bothers me a lot. It just doesn't seem fair that she doesn't get any development when, apparently, she has a lot of untapped potential.

Um, would you mind if I email you? I would just like to hash out some things regarding the ranma/sailor moon crossover. It's okay if you don't have the time:)
