Frustrated at Chapter 8 of Rend

ice_of_dreamsI was re-reading chapter 8 and was dumbstruck.
Chapter 8 has got to be the worst piece of fiction I ever wrote. That said, I don't know how to fix it.
*sigh* I wish I could snip away half of the chapter and burn it. There are too much weird situations in it that was probably 'cute' when I was twelve but definitely annoying now that I'm twenty one.
