pictures: trips around the Philippines (Subic Chapter)

Hmmm... I was looking through old pictures. I was going to upload some of my Ilocos pictures but decided I didn't want to tackle my scanner right now. :/

But I did find pictures from that trip to Subic from last October. Which is just as good. There are only a few pics because I wasn't in a photography class at that time, and I didn't have time to take pictures of that opposite end of the beach.

The pictures are a result of boredom while waiting for our parents to finish eating breakfast. So my sister and I decided to take a stroll on the Boardwalk, and bring my dad's SLR along the way.

Half of the pictures were me in a half-baked attempt to try to be a biologist, so most of them were little species with six crablet pictures, and just two or three photographs of the view.

Subic Bay was formerly an integrated Naval force of the Philippines and the United States by order of President Roosevelt in 1940. On 1992 Subic Bay was handed over to the Philippine Government.

I used to live in Olongapo City and my family and I would frequent Subic Bay often. It's great to see it still looking beautiful. We often used to go to "All Hands Beach", or something like that.

I've bever been to All Hands Beach. We were at White Rock but stayed at Countryside Inn (it's in the picture).

Hmmm... if you like pics though... have you been to Tagaytay? Taal Volcano in particular. My barkada and I went hiking there last year on my birthday and I posted a couple of pics:

The pics are not as sharp as the ones we took in Subic (because I wasn't using an SLR camera). But we posted the pics of the volcano and the creater. (I took up Geology too so this is the second time I've gone up that particular mountain, biologist chemist and geologist all rolled into one.)

No, I've never been to Tagaytay. Well, at least I don't recall ever going. But the pictures still look incredible! You guys really had an awesome view! :o

Whoa, biologist + chemist + geologist. Sounds interesting (though lots of work), plus you go on great trips!

Not that much work, my major is chemistry, I just took lots of courses outside of it. Learning lots of interesting things though.
